New Member Education

Fraternity & Sorority Life believes in the success of all our student members, and understand that their journey begins as a new member. We provide numerous opportunities for students to engage with the community, their organization, and our office through new member education programming.

FSL 101

FSL 101 occurs during the week of IFC and Panhellenic recruitment. This programming introduces potential new members to the values and standards of the fraternity and sorority life community.

MGC and NPHC 101

The purpose of MGC 101 and NPHC 101 is to give students information about the various groups, membership requirements, cultural insights, and benefits of joining Greek Life. MGC 101 and NPHC 101 are also an opportunity for Fraternity & Sorority Life to discuss important information about hazing guidelines and the challenges of joining a Greek-letter organization.

Jr. Panhellenic

Jr. Panhellenic is open to all first year women in the Panhellenic community. As members of Jr. Panhellenic you will explore the bigger picture of sorority life while creating relationships with women from different chapters. The group will meet 2-4 times a semester to learn about the Panhellenic community as a whole and how membership in a sorority chapter can develop your leadership and involvement opportunities on campus.
