Texas, Rivers
This layer contains rivers and streams in Texas. This boundary file was specifically designed for small to medium scale thematic mapping and analysis.
The spatial data were obtained from the USGS National Hydrography Dataset and were processed further by the Texas Tech Center for Geospatial Technology. Geoprocessing was performed to select main rivers and tributaries, based upon rank, and delete less significant features. The attributes were modified to include river name and various identification codes and fields.
