Summary 

This layer contains the locations of airports in Texas. This point file was specifically designed for multi scale thematic mapping and analysis.

Description 

            

              

                The spatial data 
                were obtained
                 from the 
                the Texas Natural Resource Information System (TNRIS) and are current as of 
                2004. The airport data was collected by the Federal Aviation Administration and published by the Texas Department of Transportation. 
                The attributes were modified to include name, 
                city, owner, location information, identification information, and operational information.
