Admission to the Undergraduate Program
Undergraduate students who are interested in TTU Geosciences program can apply to Texas Tech University directly through the TTU Admission Office using the online Apply Texas website:
http://www.depts.ttu.edu/registrar/default.aspx
Students are also welcome to transfer into geosciences from other programs within Texas Tech University or from other institutions.
Financial Aid
Texas Tech University Office of Financial Aid http://www.depts.ttu.edu/financialaid/ can assist with grants, loans and scholarships to fund your education. Students need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/#) by March 1 for priority consideration. Merit and need-based scholarships (http://www.scholarships.ttu.edu/scholarship.aspx) are available for incoming freshmen as well as transfer students. Application for scholarships is through the Apply Texas website (https://www.applytexas.org/adappc/gen/c_start.WBX) and needs to be completed by Feb 1 for current students and entering Freshmen and March 1 for entering transfer students.
