Geosciences Research Day 2014 - Wednesday, May 7th, 10:30 AM, Room 230 and the 2nd Floor.
The Department of Geosciences hosts an annual Research Day at the end of every Spring semester. The aim of the day is to showcase current research activities in the Department, provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, and expose under-graduate and graduate students to the experience of presenting their research in a conference-like environment. Faculty and associated researchers also present their ongoing research along side students.
Posters will be presented on the second floor of the Science Buildingfrom 10:00 am. Refreshments will be served and a judging panel will be responsible for selecting the best posters from under-graduate and graduate students. Prize winners will be announced towards the end of lunch.

All participants are asked to submit their abstract using the template provided (.doc).
Contributions are REQUIRED for all graduating seniors, and EXPECTED from all other members on the Department, including Graduate Students, Post-Doctoral Fellows, and Faculty.
Abstracts should be submitted to Dustin Sweet no later than Tuesday 30 April 2014
