Program Description

This Master of Science in Agricultural Communications is designed to prepare graduates for entry into or advancement in a variety of mass media, marketing, and public relations positions. This program also provides development of professional communications skills for related careers in agribusiness, government service, education, and Extension. The Masters degree program in agricultural communications provides a flexible program, which can be tailored to meet each students unique situation. Specialization areas such as marketing, mass media, and public relations are also available through cooperation with the College of Media and Communications Studies or the College of Business.

How To Apply


1) Apply to Graduate School : Fill out the online application at Apply Texas.

2) Pay your application fee: $60 initial application fee, $50 for each subsequent application (including changes of entry date, add/change program, or readmission). Application fees may be paid via ApplyTexas at the time of application submission or by credit card on our website.

3) Contact the Graduate Program Coordinator in your prospective department. Many departments have separate application requirements and deadlines, and the Graduate Program Coordinator will be able to assist you in your application process.

4) Send application requirements, from all of the colleges and universities that you have attended to Texas Tech University Graduate School.
