Doctor of Philosophy in Business - Finance


Program Description

Doctoral students will complete coursework in a finance specialization and also coursework in a supporting field (typically in economics and statistics). In addition, students will be exposed to the latest research from leading scholars from other universities through our departmental seminar series. This is a full-time program. Doctoral students typically take 9-14 credit hours per semester and are required to be continuously enrolled from the start of the program until graduation.

How To Apply

2) Pay your application fee: $60 initial application fee, $50 for each subsequent application (including changes of entry date, add/change program, or readmission). Application fees may be paid via ApplyTexas at the time of application submission or by credit card on our website.
