Program Description

The Rawls College of Business affords students the opportunity to pursue a Master of Business Administration while concurrently earning another degree at Texas Tech University. The MBA curriculum allows students to gain a portfolio of skills and the business knowledge needed to hit the ground running in their chosen field. Twelve credit hours transfer into both programs. Dual MBA programs are 42 credit hours and traditionally begin in the summer. Students must first be accepted to their primary program before applying for the MBA dual program.

Writing Sample Instructions: Essay: 1 page addressing 1 or more of the topics: • goals • personal experiences • Past challenges and how you met with them • Special conditions you believe should be considered, etc.

Departmental Application Instructions: Submit a Rawls College application and attach TTU Change/Add Program Form. The TTU Change/Add form is completed in lieu of submitting an application to Texas Tech Graduate School. GMAT/GRE accepted.

How To Apply

1) Apply to Graduate School : Fill out the online application at Apply Texas.

2) Pay your application fee: $60 initial application fee, $50 for each subsequent application (including changes of entry date, add/change program, or readmission). Application fees may be paid via ApplyTexas at the time of application submission or by credit card on our website.

3) Contact the Graduate Program Coordinator in your prospective department. Many departments have separate application requirements and deadlines, and the Graduate Program Coordinator will be able to assist you in your application process.

4) Send application requirements, from all of the colleges and universities that you have attended to Texas Tech University Graduate School.
