Program Description

The Department of Computer Science offers a number of graduate programs ranging from a Certificate in Software Engineering to a Doctorate of Philosophy. The department has an excellent graduate faculty with research specialties in a variety of areas, including programming language design, logic programming, computer security, artificial intelligence, distributed computing, software engineering, computer graphics, data mining, robotics, bioinformatics, and image compression. How To Apply

1) Apply to Graduate School : Fill out the online application at Apply Texas.

2) Pay your application fee: $60 initial application fee, $50 for each subsequent application (including changes of entry date, add/change program, or readmission). Application fees may be paid via ApplyTexas at the time of application submission or by credit card on our website.

3) Contact the Graduate Program Coordinator in your prospective department. Many departments have separate application requirements and deadlines, and the Graduate Program Coordinator will be able to assist you in your application process.

4) Send application requirements, from all of the colleges and universities that you have attended to Texas Tech University Graduate School.
