CHANGES IN GRADUATE SCHOOL PROCEDURES

Binding Service Through Library NO LONGER Offered-- starting Spring 2008

The Graduate School and TTU library no longer provide binding through their commercial binding service. Students who need to make bound copies for their committees and/or departments or would like to have bound personal copies, must find a binding service through a third party. If you would like to use the retail version of the commercial binding previously offered by the library, you can go to Thesis-On-Demand and order binding through them directly.

NOTE: The Graduate Council requires students to purchase a personal copy for their chairperson; check with your department for paper copy requirements. If the chair does not want a paper copy, you must submit the Chair Copy Waiver Form

NOTE: Students who ordered and paid for bound copies prior to the Spring 2008 semester but never brought in paper copies for binding must do so by August 1, 2008 or your order will be cancelled and your payment will be refunded. Please contact Becky Davidson or Anastasia Coles if you have any questions.

New Integrity Review -- starting Fall, 2007

  • All TTU/TTUHSC theses and dissertations are submitted to review with turnitin.com for academic integrity. For more information about the Graduate School policy concerning turnitin.com, please see Integrity Review Process.

Change in Required Paperwork -- starting January 1, 2007

  • Students are NO LONGER required to request an official title page to be produced by the Graduate School. INSTEAD, students should download the Thesis-Dissertation Approval Form. Students need to download and fill this form out to bring with them to their defense in order to obtain approval signatures from their committee. (Students are still also required to obtain committee signatures on the ETD Signature Form).
  • We have revised the Thesis and Dissertation Formatting Guidelines. Students should follow these revised guidelines when formatting their theses and dissertations.
  • Students should always check the web site for the most up-to-date information on requirements and procedures for the Graduate School.

Please contact the Thesis Coordinator or Dissertation Supervisor if you have any questions.
