ETD Signature Form Eliminated

Students are now submitting ETDs through the Texas Digital Library's Vireo system (see: ETD Accounts on the right side of this page). The Vireo system has a release section that is completed electronically by the student. As a result, the Graduate School no longer requires that a separate, paper signature form for ETD release be submitted. Students must still submit the signed Thesis-Dissertation Approval form verifying that their document has passed their committee's approval however.

Changes in Graduate School ProceduresDate Effective
ETD Signature Form No Longer Required

ETD Submissions will now be made through the Vireo system with the Texas Digital Library. The Vireo system has an online waiver that students fill out.

Binding Service Through Library NO LONGER Offered

Students who need to make bound copies for their committees and/or departments or would like to have bound personal copies, must find a binding service through a third party. If you would like to use the retail version of the commercial binding previously offered by the library, you can go to Thesis-On-Demand and order binding from them directly.

NOTE: The Graduate Council requires students to purchase a personal copy for their chairperson; check with your department for paper copy requirements. If the chair does not want a paper copy, you must submit the Chair Copy Waiver Form
