Meredith Craig

Meredith Craig is the Assistant Director for the United Spirit Arena. She is responsible for the coordination of special events at the United Spirit Arena as well as special events for the West Stadium Building of Jones AT&T Stadium. She is currently an Account Executive for United Way, on the steering committee for Leadership Lubbock and a member of the Young Professionals Committee for the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM) as well as on the Annual Conference Planning Committee. Prior to the United Spirit Arena, Ms. Craig was the Public Relations Manager at the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM), the world's largest professional association dedicated to issues relevant to the management of public assembly facilities. |

Members of the association manage public assembly facilities such as arenas, amphitheaters, convention centers/exhibit halls, performing arts venues, stadiums and university complexes; or provide products, services or attractions to support the industry. She continues to serve as a Public Relations consultant for the Association. Ms. Craig is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and also a graduate of Texas Tech University, where she earned her masters degree in Communication Studies. Ms. Craig was an adjunct professor this year for the Texas Tech department of Communication Studies teaching Communication in Instruction and Training. | |

Ms. Craig was selected to serve as a participant for the Department of Homeland Security Public/Media Affairs Communications Exercise as well as serve as an instructor for the European Academy of Venue Management. She has contributed several articles in Facility Manager, a trade publication for those in facility management. In addition to magazine publications, part of her thesis was published as an article for Public Relations Review. She was awarded the Chancellor's Award of Excellence for Quality Service for her work at the United Spirit Arena and she is also a graduate and scholarship recipient of the Public Assembly Management School, a professional program for those in facility management. In her spare time Ms. Craig enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an avid runner who recently completed her first half marathon. |
