CH Foundation Doctoral Fellowships

Award Amount:

$4,000 per year for Doctoral students for four years

Eligibility:

This Fellowship is awarded to new full-time doctoral graduate students whose research emphasizes issues of importance to West Texas. This fellowship must be paired with a departmental assistantship. Target award areas may include, but are not limited to, Animal and Food Sciences, Agricultural Education and Economics, Atmospheric Sciences, Education, Environmental Toxicology, Geosciences, Human Development and Family Studies, Natural Resources Management, Personal Financial Planning, Plant and Soil Sciences, Water Research, and Wind Science and Energy.

To receive this fellowship, students must be nominated by faculty in their department. Students are eligible for $4,000 per year for four years, provided the student remains enrolled as a full-time student and makes satisfactory progress in that program toward their degree throughout the duration of the award. Students may not directly apply for this fellowship.

Eligible graduate students include on-campus and distance education students who are pursuing a doctoral program. Students pursuing a non-degree such as Post-graduate (PGRD), Graduate Temporary (GTMP), Continuing Professional Educational Development (CPED), or students who are pursuing a degree at the Texas Tech University Law School or Health Sciences Center are not eligible to apply.

All scholarship and fellowship applications must be submitted electronically using our online system. Students may not directly apply for this fellowship. Nominations must be submitted by the student's faculty advisor or the graduate program coordinator.
