Health and Social Services Fellowships

Award Amount:

$4,000 per year for one year

Eligibility:

The Health and Social Services Fellowship is available to new and continuing full-time Texas Tech university students who are pursuing graduate degrees in health- and social services-related fields and who show a strong interest in working in West Texas upon completion of their degree.

The typical Texas Tech University graduate majors to be awarded include clinical psychology, counseling psychology, human development and family studies, sociology, business administration/health organizational management, marriage and family therapy, and healthcare engineering.

Awards are for one academic year, beginning in the fall, and students may re-apply at the end of the award period. The award amount is disbursed evenly for Fall and Spring Semesters.

Eligible graduate students include on-campus and distance education students who are pursuing any master's or doctoral program, teacher certification program (CERT/FCSC), graduate certificate program (GCERT), or joint degree program (for the joint degree, this scholarship will only be applied while you are taking courses within Texas Tech University). Students pursuing a non-degree such as Post-graduate (PGRD), Graduate Temporary (GTMP), Continuing Professional Educational Development (CPED), or students who are pursuing a degree at the Texas Tech University Law School or Health Sciences Center are not eligible to apply.
