American Mexican Friendship – Waterman Scholarship

$4,000 per year for Master's students for two years |
Eligibility: |
The Waterman Scholarship is available to new and continuing full-time domestic and international graduate students at Texas Tech University. Applicants must plan to apply their education in Mexico and must have earned a degree from a higher education institution in Mexico. Master's students will be eligible for $4,000 per year for up to two years, and doctoral students will be eligible for $4,000 per year for up to three years, provided the student remains enrolled as a full-time student and makes satisfactory progress in that program toward their degree throughout the duration of the award. Awards are based on an academic-year calendar, beginning in the fall, and students may re-apply at the end of the award period. The award amount is disbursed evenly for Fall and Spring Semesters. Eligible graduate students include on-campus and distance education students who are pursuing any master's or doctoral program, teacher certification program (CERT/FCSC), graduate certificate program (GCERT), or joint degree program (for the joint degree, this scholarship will only be applied while you are taking courses within Texas Tech University). Students pursuing a non-degree such as Post-graduate (PGRD), Graduate Temporary (GTMP), Continuing Professional Educational Development (CPED), or students who are pursuing a degree at the Texas Tech University Law School or Health Sciences Center are not eligible to apply. |
