Scholarship Information
Eligibility
Applicants do not have to be officially admitted to a TTU graduate program when applying for scholarships. Additionally, applying for admission to the Graduate School does not automatically qualify you for scholarships - you will need to fill out the online application.
Unique questions within this application will determine your eligibility for specific requirements related to individual scholarships.
The following Texas Tech University Colleges will also consider this application for the graduate scholarships that they disburse as well.
- Education
- Engineering
- Human Sciences
- Mass Communications
- Visual and Performing Arts
* On an individual departmental basis, your application may also be considered for other scholarships (including, but not limited to): Classical and Modern Languages and Literature, Economics, Health Exercise and Sports Science, Physics, and Public Administration.
* Application decisions will be made approximately 8 weeks after the submission date.
Eligible graduate students include on-campus and distance education students who are pursuing any master's or doctoral program, graduate certificate program (GCRT), teacher certification program (CERT/FCSC), or joint degree program (for the joint degree, this scholarship will only be applied while you are taking courses within Texas Tech University). Students pursuing a non-degree such as Post-graduate (PGRD), Graduate Temporary (GTMP), Continuing Professional Educational Development (CPED), or students who are pursuing a degree at the Texas Tech University Law School or Health Sciences Center are not eligible to apply.
