The Graduate School is hosting a dissertation and thesis boot camp designed to meet the needs of dissertation and thesis writers at any stage. Part seminar series and part writing workshops, the boot camp will cover the writing process from topic selection to final draft of your thesis or dissertation, to submission to the Graduate School’s ETD site. Seminars will address database management, how to choose a topic and advice for choosing and communicating with your committee, how to work through writer’s block, how to build and support your argument and the drafting/revising process. Workshops will give graduate students time to practice writing strategies, network with other graduate students writing in similar fields, and get some one-on-one instruction and feedback.

 

Daily Schedule:
9-11 a.m. - Seminars and workshops (May 2013 Boot Camp Schedule) - All registrants may attend these morning sessions.
1-4 p.m. individualized writing time (Space is limited.  Please email donna.rogers@ttu.edu to reserve your seat during the individualized writing time)
