Fitness Walking
Welcome to walking, one of the most popular activities in the world. Walking is a very healthy pastime that has gained momentum in many parts of the world, including America. The activity appeals to many ages and exercise levels and to both men and women. This chapter will include everything you need to learn about exercising through walking. There is evidence to suggest that moderate activities like walking may provide individuals with more energy and health benefits, such as a reduction of stress and an increase in relaxation. A walking routine of sufficient intensity can even provide a great cardiovascular workout that strengthens and tones the muscles. The National Sporting Goods Association suggests that walking is the most popular aerobic fitness activity in the United States today. Whether you walk at a moderate to vigorous pace or on a scheduled or random basis, walking will help you to achieve the fitness level you desire for a lifetime of health.
