How to Apply to Graduate College of Education Programs available at Texas Tech University at Fredericksburg

 

  • First, speak to a recruiter or advisor at the one of the off-campus sites below.
  • Fill out the Texas Common Application located at:

www.applytexas.org . Be sure to list ‘Texas Tech University’ as the college and “Regional Centers and Off-campus sites” as the school.

  • Pay the non-refundable $50 Texas Tech application fee with a credit card.
  • Contact the graduate advisor in the prospective department. Most programs have separate application requirements and deadlines.
  • Order official transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended sent to:

  • GRE test scores are required only for the doctoral program.
  • Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you are interested in scholarships or financial aid of any kind. The form is located at www.federalstudentaid.ed.gov.  Create a pin number and fill out the form during tax season. TTU sites may know about local resources.
  • Check out www.CollegeForTexans.com and www.adventuresineducation.org for Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board financial aid information.
  • Check with an advisor or recruiter for application deadlines.
