Financial Aid
College for Texans, a program of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, has a wealth of information for students and parents.
The TTU Office of Student Financial Aid has extensive information at www.fina.ttu.edu, including information about student loans. The College for Texans site (link at the bottom of the home page) is also excellent at explaining options for paying for college.
Full time and part time students may apply for financial aid.

Local Scholarships
All three Texas Tech University sites have some information on scholarships especially
for non-traditional and local students. Use the contact information
above to speak with Cathy, Christian, or Grant for information on
local scholarships or tuition reimbursement programs.
We also encourage you to contact groups in your town that might offer scholarships.
These types of groups are interested in helping local students:
• local
service organizations--Rotary, Lions, VFW, Zonta International, Kiwanis,
PEO, alumni groups
• institutions--hospitals, churches, libraries, art groups, historical
societies
• businesses—chamber of commerce, grocery
stores, restaurants (some have tuition reimbursement programs)
• high school counselors are a source for local financial aid information
