Junction Campus


Facilities at the Texas Tech Center at Junction
may be classified into three groups:

Housing, Educational/Administrative, Outdoor/Recreational

Housing


Five air conditioned/heated units for 120 persons.
Ten screened cabins for 100 persons.

Specific units in this classification include:

  • Pecan House
  • Mockingbird House
  • Hummingbird House
  • Robert Packard Building
  • Bluebonnet House
  • Bath House for Cabins
  • Screened Cabins

Educational/Administration


Sixteen classrooms/laboratories which share space with many of the housing units above. A large lecture/dining hall, Academic Building with Darkroom, 13 station Mac Lab, and classrooms and Art Facilities for ceramics, glassblowing, etc. Two distance learning labs, Administration building with12 station PC Lab, Library, book store, and Staff Offices.

Outdoor/Recreational

TTU Center at Junction offers a varity of Outdoor recreational activities. A little something for everyone
For the naturalist, we have canoeing, tubing, swimming, and fishing the South Llano River. Hiking, birding, wildlife and wildflower photography.
For the sports fan, we have volly ball, softball, basketball, biking, and a Challenge Ropes Course.


And for those who just want to relax, you can take a dip in our Pool or just set back and watch the abundant wildlife.

The Texas Hill Country abounds in recreational potential.
Many of Texas' finest State Parks are in this region.
