Information for Parents
Welcome. The Outdoor School is devoted to creating innovative educational programs designed to reinforce what your child learns in the classroom. During their stay, children will become ecologists, astronomers, ornithologists, aquatic biologists, botanists, team builders and pioneers in a setting where they are immersed in real-world, hands-on activities. These activities will stimulate your child’s imagination, foster curiosity and create an environment to share discoveries.
The Outdoor School is a three day (2 night) experience held at the TTU Center at Junction in Junction, Texas. The facility is staffed by certified teachers and a trained support staff who all work with your child’s classroom teacher to monitor and care for your child day and night.
