encourage you to contact groups in your town that might offer
scholarships. These types of groups are interested in helping
local students:
• local service organizations--Rotary, Lions, VFW, Zonta
International, Kiwanis, PEO, alumni groups
• institutions--hospitals, churches, libraries, art groups,
historical societies
• businesses—chamber of commerce, grocery stores,
restaurants (some have tuition reimbursement programs)
• high school counselors are a source for local financial
