Classes Begin!!!!

Classes begin on Thursday August 27th.

 

Free Breakfast Snacks Available in Student Forum Aug 27th and 28th!!!

The Honors College will be supplying breakfast snacks to all Honors students, faculty, and staff on Aug. 27th and 28th, so feel free to drop by the Student Forum, Room 101 of McClellan Hall (15th & Akron).  You can enter the Forum by swiping your TTU ID.  If it won’t work for you, drop by the front desk in Room 103.  Breakfast snacks will be offered to all Honors College students, faculty, and staff every Friday for the remainder of the semester.

 

Job Opportunity

The Honors College needs a student who can be available in the student Forum on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5pm-10pm.  Interested students should complete the application which has been posted on the Honors College website here: http://www.depts.ttu.edu/honors/news.php.

The Honors College Student Activities Board is now accepting applications for the 2009-2010 school year.  The Student Activities Board is a group of dedicated students which strives to bring the Honors community together through events oriented towards Honors, community service, and of course events simply for the sake of having a good time. Incoming freshmen are not eligible to join in the fall semester, but you are more than welcome to apply in the spring. If you are a sociable and outgoing person who would like to join SAB please email Lindzi Shanks at lindzi.shanks@ttu.edu for an application.

 

URF Applications

Don’t Miss Out On NHH 3300!

Join the Honors Book Club!

The Honors Book Club was formed last spring for students in any major who enjoy reading and group discussion outside of the classroom.  We’d love to have you join us in the Fall!  Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, September 15th from 4:00-5:00pm and we will meet every other Tuesday at the same time through the end of November, reading one book each month.  (The Honors College will pay for your books!)  Participating students will have the opportunity to earn a scholarship by writing a reflection essay in November.  Contact the Lead Advisor at sarah.timmons@ttu.edu to join and for further details.

Lunch Discussion
