Megan is a native Texan from Coahoma. She recently joined the ranks of the Honors College staff as a Senior Academic Advisor. She advises HAL majors and EVHM minors along with assisting students working toward early admission to medical or law school through the Honors Early Acceptance Programs. She also coordinates the Friday Lunch Discussions.
Just a few months ago, Megan was a student working toward her Honors Arts & Letters degree from the Honors College and her Political Science degree from the College of Arts & Sciences. She graduated with highest honors in August of 2013 and began her career with the TTU in October. Along with advising, she will serve as the coordinator for Pre-Med, Pre-Law, HON and Passport.
She brings a wealth of experience to the job.
During her undergraduate years, Megan served as an Honors Ambassador,
Eta Omicron Nu (HON) Community
Chair, and was an FYE/LCG Mentor. Megan was also a member of the Honors Book
Club, a steady attendee of the Honors Lunch Discussions, and a student
assistant for the Honors College.
In August she was a banner bearer for the college.
