Megan is a native Texan from Coahoma. She recently joined the ranks of the Honors College staff as a Senior Academic Advisor. She advises HAL majors and EVHM minors along with assisting students working toward early admission to medical or law school through the Honors Early Acceptance Programs.
Just a few months ago, Megan was a student working toward her Honors Arts & Letters degree from the Honors College and her Political Science degree from the College of Arts & Sciences. She graduated with highest honors in August of 2013 and began her career with the TTU in October. Along with advising, she will serve as the coordinator for the Pre-Med, Pre-Law, and the Passport Programs.
She brings a wealth of experience to the job.
During her undergraduate years, Megan served as an Honors Ambassador,
Eta Omicron Nu (HON) Community
Chair, and was an FYE/LCG Mentor. Megan was also a member of the Honors Book
Club, a steady attendee of the Honors Lunch Discussions, and a student
assistant for the Honors College.
In August she was a banner bearer for the college.
It was this wide range of experience that made her the perfect
