Member Requirements
New Members, in order to become a member of HON you must:
- Attain a 3.25 GPA
- Participate in a Chapter
- Pay the annual dues of $40
- Remain in good standing with Texas Tech and the Honors College (if members)
- Obtain the required amount points
- Participate in a New Member Activity and Coffee with an Old Member
- Attend the Pinning Ceremony at the end of the year
Old Members, in order to continue to use HON on your resume you must:
- Maintain a 3.25 GPA throughout your membership in HON
- Participate in a Chapter
- Pay the annual dues of $40
- Remain in good standing with Texas Tech and the Honors College (if members)
- Obtain the required amount of points

Bring completed applications to any HON sponsored event or drop it off at our office.
