- The Department of Neurology and the F. Marie Hall Institute for Rural and Community Health at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center are looking for 2 undergraduate volunteers to assist with research duties. If you are a psychology or health-related major (Pre-med, Biology, Pre-dental, Chemistry, etc), with a 3.5 GPA and plan to attend graduate or medical school, you are eligible to apply. - If you plan to graduate in August or December 2009 or Spring 2010 you must fill out an Honors College Intent to Graduate form" as soon as possible in addition to the one you filled out for your primary college. Contact Sarah Timmons * with any questions.
- Photographer Needed
Are you a photography or photojournalism major, or just an aspiring amateur photographer? The Honors College is looking for students who would like to volunteer to photograph some of the highlights and experiences that characterize involvement in Honors, such as faculty-student interaction, the FYE, URF, and Ambassador programs, NHH, HAL, and laboratory science courses, etc. To volunteer or for more details, contact Sarah Timmons *, the Honors College Lead Advisor.
- Thinking of writing a Thesis for "Highest Honors" from the Honors College? If so, you need to make an appointment with the Thesis Coordinator, Dr. Richard Verrone * , to discuss the application and Proposal process. We will no longer accept applications from students who will graduate in December 2009, May 2010, August 2010, or December 2010.
