Anita Yarlagadda
Having a career in medicine is Anita Yarlagadda's long-term goal. She is working toward that goal with a Biochemistry major and a Biology minor.
She has been an officer in Eta Omicron Nu (HON), the Honors student honorary organization and she is also active in South Asian Students of America and the Dr. Bernard Harris Premedical Society. She is working on undergraduate research in the Biochemistry Department. Anita is also a member of Mortar Board, a service and honor organization for college seniors.
Anita says "the greatest benefit of participating in the Honors College is being a part of Honors classes and interacting with intelligent students and thought-provoking professors. The Honors College is a great opportunity to really challenge yourself during your college career."
