Living on campus is one of the most memorable and rewarding of college experiences! This checklist will help guide you through Priority Room Selection (PRS), the process to sign up for housing.

Students with less than 30 post high school credit hours are required to live in a residence hall unless exempt by Operating Policy (OP) 30.25.
Verify Your Information
Check your contact information in our system. Go to Raiderlink to make any corrections.
Provide us with optional additional information for our online system.
Sign Your Contract
Read the Contract Guide. This is a part of the contract, so it is important that you read and understand it.

Make Your Payment Arrangements
Proceed to pay online using any major credit card. For an alternative to paying online, read about Payment Arrangements.
Wait for Room and Dining Plan Assignment
Self selection of rooms and dining plans is now closed for fall 2017. Students who apply for housing for fall 2017 – spring 2018 will provide housing and dining plan preferences in addition to all other previous steps. Assignments will be made by University Student Housing staff on a daily basis, based on availability.
An email will be sent to the student's official Texas Tech email address once they have been assigned. Please email email@example.com if you have any questions or concerns.
Move Into Your Room
Review the Residence Hall Policies to understand the regulations or standards of acceptable behavior in the halls.
