Community Advisor Job Description

Required Qualifications at Time of Hire

***If you are currently a first-year student, you must apply before October 8, 2018 to qualify for the 2019-2020 academic year.***

  • Successfully complete a minimum of 24 credit hours at Texas Tech University
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum 2.250 (TTU/TTUHSC) semester GPA & a minimum 2.500 (TTU/TTUHSC) Cumulative GPA
  • Have lived with University Student Housing for at least two semesters
  • Have good judicial standing with Texas Tech University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, University Student Housing and the Office of Student Conduct

 

First Semester Transfer Students – the following requirements must be met to be eligible for hire:

  • Successfully complete a minimum of 12 credit hours at Texas Tech University
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum 2.250 (TTU/TTUHSC) semester GPA & a minimum 2.500 Cumulative GPA
  • Have lived with University Student Housing or equivalent residential community for at least two semesters, at least one at TTU
  • Candidates must submit documentation from previous institution(s) stating time spent in housing and having been in good judicial/administrative standing at time of departure
  • Good judicial standing with Texas Tech University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, University Student Housing and the Office of Student Conduct.
