Engineering Success Learning Community

For 2017-2018, the Engineering Success Learning Community will be located in the Bledsoe hall and is open to male students admitted to the Whitacre College of Engineering.

The Engineering Success Learning Community provides a unique experience for male students admitted to the Whitacre College of Engineering to live together in an environment supporting their academic, personal and professional success.

Events and activities may include:

  • Attending the Engineering Career Fair
  • Participating in community service projects
  • Listening to a variety of guest speakers
  • Attending campus events like football games with your LC
  • Sharing meals with faculty and other students
  • Weekly in-hall office hours with the Assistant Academic Dean

The Engineering Success Learning Community contributes to Texas Tech University's Engineering, Computing & Math Undergraduate Academic Interest Area, aligned with the Government & Public Administration; Information Technology; Manufacturing; Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics; and Transportation, Distribution, & Logistics Plans of Study in the Career Technical Education (CTE) programs for lifelong learning.
