As a Managing Director in Operations, Lonnie Evans' commitment to students, faculty and staff knows no bounds. With over 100 buildings and 4.0 million square feet of space to take care of, Lonnie goes above and beyond in his willingness to not only sustain, but improve everything he comes in contact with. With the increased demands on facilities, and increased activities on campus, there has become a 24/7/ 365 days a year need for support. Lonnie ensures that all those needs are met. He personally makes rounds, visits with customers, follows up on projects, and maintains an open door policy for everyone on campus. His personal impact is apparent as over 90% of the campus community knows him on a first name basis. He is truly someone who is making Texas Tech a great place to work.
