• Assist with defining expectations for staff performance with regard to instructional strategies, assessment practices, and classroom management.
• Observe employee performance, record observations, and conduct evaluation conferences with staff as assigned.
• Make recommendations to supervisors concerning employment, evaluation, and termination of instructors.
• Work to plan professional development activities.
• Confer with subordinates regarding their professional growth. Work with them to develop and accomplish improvement goals.
• Comply with district policies and institutional policies.
• Maintain accurate records concerning enrollment, personnel and other assigned needs.
• Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents as required.
• Ensure that school rules are uniformly observed and policies followed.
• Conduct conferences about student and school issues with parents, students, and teachers.
• Attend professional growth and development opportunities ass assigned.
• Develop professional skills appropriate to job assignment.
• Demonstrate professional, ethical, and responsible behavior. Serve as a role model for all staff.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of staff assigned including teacher(s)
