Senior Business Assistant
Department of Theatre and Dance
Mary knows the university inside-out, from the OPs to the intricacies of travel and reimbursement. She knows the history of the department and university, has worked almost two decades with differing Chairs and Deans, has trained her assistants, and serves as an unparalleled advisor to the present Chair. Mary also knows the personalities in our department very well, and can work with each individually in methods that encourages best work. Intimately tied to the community, Mary participates, supports and encourages all of our outreach programs, and diligently makes each happen financially and in terms of structure and organization. She remains calm, even under a great deal of pressure, and she balances the needs of a very "dramatic" department.
