The 2012 Texas Tech University Employee Engagement Survey was a great success! We received a tremendous response from 32% of our surveyed population. Your participation enabled us to meet our intent of gathering feedback from full-time employees with specific focus on your working environment and Texas Tech University as a whole. Thank you to those who participated!
The results of this survey told us that there are many areas where Texas Tech is doing great in meeting your expectations and needs. It also directed us to areas of opportunity where we need more focus and development. Based on this information, I have asked Human Resources to work with the divisional leaders to target these important areas of opportunity and assist in developing plans of action towards improvement.
The Employee Engagement Survey was designed as a two-part survey, one conducted in April 2012 with a second, follow-up survey. We are currently conducting the second follow-up Employee Engagement Survey. This survey provides you with another opportunity to tell us how we are doing as an employer by identifying areas where you think we are great and other areas where we could do better. I encourage all employees who are eligible to take this survey to participate and ensure your voice is heard.
Thank you in advance for taking a few minutes to complete the survey at http://www.depts.ttu.edu/itts/assessments/hr.
Dr. Lawrence Schovanec
Interim President, Texas Tech University
Note: The survey is open until April 30, 2013.
