Enroll in dental coverage during Annual Enrollment

If you and your family need dental insurance, you have a chance to enroll during the upcoming Annual Enrollment. Your dental insurance options give you a large selection of providers. In the State of Texas Dental Choice Plan℠ (Preferred Provider Organization), administered by HumanaDental Insurance Company, the network of participating providers grew by more than 230 locations from September 15, 2011 to March 15, 2012. In the same time period, the HumanaDental DHMO added 24 new locations.
HumanaDental's Provider Relations staff continuously monitors the networks to ensure access and convenience for members and has the flexibility to expand and recruit additional providers as needed or as recommended by members. Of the dentists who join HumanaDental's network, 99% remain in the network.
In the State of Texas Dental Choice Plan℠, you can use any dentist or get a higher benefit by using the preferred provider network. With the HumanaDental DHMO, you must select a primary care dentist (PCD) from a list of approved providers before receiving services. You and your enrolled dependents can choose different PCDs.
