Employment Services Coordinators
Your one-page, easy access to all the information you need as an Employment Services Coordinator.
ESC Responsibilities
Each department on the Texas Tech University campus has an assigned Employee Services Coordinator (ESC) to direct new employees through the new hire process, and to ensure compliance with federal mandates and HR policies.
The ESC works directly with the hiring supervisor or manager, the new employee and Texas Tech Human Resources to facilitate the new employee's transition into university life. To learn more about specific responsibilities, view a list of ESC Responsibilities.
ESC Training
All new ESCs must attend an initial training session conducted by Texas Tech Human Resources and the Office of International Affairs. Register for the ESC Training following courses at SumTotal TotalLMS.
I-9/New Employee Packet
Follow this easy step-by-step guide for processing new employees. The I-9/New Employee Packet contains all of the forms and brochures that must be completed by the new employee. The ESC will be able to either print the forms or can direct the new employee to the web page to complete the packet online. In both cases, the completed forms must be reviewed by the ESC, printed, signed, and sent to the Employee Services Center.
