This is the second generation of materials based on a
research project to identify critical life skills needed by students,
replacing the previous version entitled Skills for Life. Skills
identified in the project were incorporated into eight units, each
consisting of self-contained modules that can be taught in any sequence
and incorporated into a variety of courses. Modules contain teacher
text, suggested teaching strategies, learning activities and answers,
and teaching aids in PowerPoint format on an accompanying CD. Materials
are in loose-leaf form and color coded to facilitate use. They fit in
two 3-inch binders (not included). (2007)
