Community Practicum

The Child Development Research Center (CDRC) welcomes practicum students!

The CDRC serves as a site for observation and instructional experiences for Human Development and Family Sciences and Early Childhood Education program lab students who benefit from hands-on, authentic learning experiences with certified teachers and children 0-3 in a classroom environment.

The Child Development Research Center is a practicum site for the Texas Tech class HDFS 4314 for fall, spring, and summer 1 sessions. We welcome students who are interested in child care, child growth and development, and early education.

Students may contact Stacy Johnson at stacy.johnson@ttu.edu for more information and to arrange an interview.  It is also required by Texas state law that students must be able to pass a criminal history background check.
