4th Annual Fun Run/Walk

Benefitting Cathy Nathan endowed scholarship

NOVEMBER 5th, 2010 at 3:30

The CDRC has an endowed scholarship fund, named after Cathy Nathan, who was the director of the CDRC for 17 years. This fund was established to provide scholarships to families who could not otherwise attend the CDRC. Each year we have a Fun Run in honor of Cathy's dedication to children, families and child development to raise funds for this important scholarship.

The run/walk begins north of the Human Sciences building at Talkington Plaza and proceeds around memorial circle. It is a one mile course and a great opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of our beautiful campus. We are excited to have Leigh Daniel Cordes joining us for the walk this year. She is a former TTU track star and winner of "Today Show Throws a Wedding" contest. We will also have a silent auction for several wonderful gift baskets full of goodies, face painting and free Cowamongus ice cream.

We encourage everyone to come out and join the fun. Since this is a fund-raising event we ask that you make a donation of $10 in order to participate in the walk/run. Groups of 8 or more may enter for $7 per person. All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and free Cowamongus ice cream!!!

*Registrations received after October 25th will not include a t-shirt.
