Project Title: "Neurobiological Changes in Children and Youth with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): Neuropsychological and Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) Evidence"

Project Description: This study aims to understand the behavioral, emotional and cognitive effects of recent exposure to violence from the paramilitary groups and drug cartels in Medellin, Colombia. The project hopes to provide a more in-depth view of the neuorpsychological effects of violence on children to improve future intervention programs for this population.
