HDFS Department Poster Colloquium 2017 – Lubbock, TX

The SMITTEN Lab presented four posters at this year's Human Development and Family Studies departmental poster session Mohsen and Brittany presented a comparison of our lab's Shared Reality measure with an existing measure. Kareem, Toni, and Brittany presented fMRI research comparing disillusionment, disappointment, and regret brain activation among individuals that were either satisfied or dissatisfied with their current relationship. Lorena and Rebecca presented a poster about what predicted who referenced financial matters during courtship interviews and whether referencing money was associated with relationship outcomes. Dr. Reifman and Rebecca presented a longitudinal study about dating partners meeting our expectations and how it predicted relationship disillusionment.
