Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Hospitality, Tourism, and Retail Management

The Doctor of Philosophy in Hospitality, Tourism, and Retail Management degree requires a minimum of 36 credit hours in core, required, and elective courses. These courses include; theory, research, literature, statistics, and curriculum. Additional requirements include 21 credit hours of electives (12 credit hours may be transferred from your master's degree work), 3 credit hours of seminar, and 12 dissertation credit hours. A GRE or GMAT score is optional. Leveling coursework may also be required.

The admission deadlines for domestic students:

Fall Admission (Priority deadline for funding): January 15
Spring Admission: October 15
