TTUHSC Pediatrics
The staff will participate in continuing medical education with the Department of Pediatrics in the 32nd Annual Pediatric Postgraduate Conference (http://www.ttuhsc.edu/som/cme/conferences/conf_detail.aspx?id=118) in August 2009, presenting on the topic, “Psychological Screening & Referral for Foster Children.”
TTU Psychology
The staff currently is involved in supervising clinical psychology graduate students (http://www.depts.ttu.edu/psy/psy.php?page=graduate/clinical/opportunities) at the Children's Advocacy Center (http://www.cacofsp.org/) of the South Plains. Staff also are involved in grant and research projects with Psychology Department faculty (e.g., Dr. Borrego) (http://www.depts.ttu.edu/psy/PCIT/).
TTU School of Law
The staff have collaborated with School of Law faculty (http://www.law.ttu.edu/faculty/bios/Spain/)on grant submissions (http://www.avoncompany.com/women/avonfoundation/gapeop.html) and Continuing Legal Education programming.
Lubbock Christian University—Department of Behavioral Sciences
The staff also supervise graduate students in the Counseling Program from the Department of Behavioral Sciences at Lubbock Christian University. These students serve abused children and their families at the Children's Advocacy Center (http://www.cacofsp.org/) of the South Plains.
