Child Development Research Center Associate Director honored at Champions for Children Award Luncheon

Cindy Bruington selected for the Robbie McGrew Child Advocacy Memorial Award.

Child Development Research Center (CDRC) Associate Director Cindy Bruington received the Robbie McGrew Child Advocacy Memorial Award presented by the Early Learning Centers of Lubbock.

This award honors outstanding individuals in the Lubbock Community who have devoted themselves to improving the lives of young children. Cindy was honored at the Champions for Children Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, April 26th.

In attendance were Michelle Elliott (CDRC Sr. Teacher), Marjie Collins (CDRC Business Coordinator), Stacy Johnson (CDRC Director), Ann Mastergeorge (HDFS Department Chairperson), Mitzi Ziegner (HDFS Instructor), and Malinda Colwell (HDFS Faculty) as well as Cindy's friends and family.
