Campers will get the exciting experience of their own photo shoot! |
| Create a brand |
Campers will be given the opportunity to design and create their own brand and be responsible for drawing 5-10 looks that could be part of their clothing line. |
| Drab to fab |
Campers will take everyday objects and transform them into fashionable trends. (example: turning a t-shirt into a scarf). |
| Dynamic logo |
Campers will create their own logo which will represent their brand while also learning about brand marketing. |
| Fashion folio |
Campers will create a fashion portfolio of their designs and decorate the cover to represent their brand. |
| Fashion Jeopardy |
This game will be based on the knowledge that campers have received throughout the camp and prizes will be handed out. |
| Fashion show preparation |
Fashion show training is each night leading up to Fridays grand finale fashion show. Campers will learn a variety of tips and techniques regarding fashion show preparation and production. |
| Fashion show/Reception |
Campers will walk in a runway show for their family and friends and enjoy a reception prepared for them by campers from Chef Camp. Certification will be awarded. |
| Learn about designers |
Campers will learn about the fashion industry and the famous fashion designers of the past and of today. |
| Mini facial |
Campers will learn from skin care professionals the tips and techniques of caring for your skin. |
| Mini merchandising |
Campers will merchandise a mini store window with a miniture annequin that will be displayed at the fashion show. |
| Paper dress design |
Student will work in groups to design a dress with unconventional aterials. |
| Photo with Will Rogers |
All campers will walk to the Will Rogers statue in the center of campus to take a group photo. |
| Sewing |
Campers will learn the basics of sewing and garment creation; they will be making aprons. |
| Theme nights |
Every night campers will dress-up depending on the theme: Celebrities, 80's, and Southern belle. |
| Trend board (getting to know each other) |
Design a trend board based on another camper and their personal style; then present it to the entire camp so everyone can get to know each other. |
