FINANCIAL AID RESOURCES
MASTER OF SCIENCE IN
RESTAURANT, HOTEL AND INSTITUTIONAL MANAGEMENT
There are several financial aid opportunities available through the RHIM Program including graduate teaching assistantships, graduate research assistantships, and scholarships. Most teaching assistantships are associated with the supervision of laboratory sections of undergraduate classes. Students on assistantships and most scholarships qualify for tuition and fees at the in-state level. Assistantships require expertise in the area assigned and are very competitive.
Scholarship applications are due on February 1 to be awarded for the following fall semester. See the College of Human Science Scholarship Application Center to download and print applications forms, or write the graduate admissions office for an application.
Assistantship applications are available in the same manner and are accepted continuously. Positions are typically awarded before the beginning of each long semester.
Federal financial aid is processed through the Texas Tech Financial Aid Office which includes more information about available scholarships.
