J Brent BeeneBrent is a Managing Partner and Wealth Advisor at RegentAtlantic Capital in Morristown, NJ (a suburb of NYC). RegentAtlantic is a fee-only, independent RIA with 42 employees and approximately $3 Billion of assets under management. Brent has been with RegentAtlantic since 2005 and serves on the firm's Management Committee. Brent has led RegentAtlantic in recruiting and developing top talent at both the entry and senior levels. He developed a Summer Intern Program and while interns come from across the country, a large percentage have come from Texas Tech. Over the years, RegentAtlantic has also proudly employed five full time Texas Tech graduates. In 2015, Brent was named one of the top "40 under 40" business leaders in the state of New Jersey by NJBIZ. He was also one of 33 participants in the country selected to the 2015 Schwab Executive Leadership Program. He has been named to the New Jersey Five Star Wealth Manager award the past 5 years. Prior to joining RegentAtlantic, Brent was with Wealth Builders, Inc. Brent is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant and holds a BBA in Finance and an MS in Personal Financial Planning and Business Administration from Texas Tech.

Brent continues to serve in leadership roles for both philanthropic and industry organizations, including the Texas Tech Personal Financial Planning Alumni Advisory Board. In 2010, Brent was selected as one of 50 leaders in the state of New Jersey to participate in Lead NJ (formerly known as Leadership New Jersey). He worked with other members on proposals to the state assembly to enact municipal consolidation to reduce the significant redundancy in municipal services and school districts across New Jersey. He maintains the position as a Graduate Fellow. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), where he served as member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Membership committee for the NJ Chapter. He also served at the National level on the organization's Tax Committee and Leadership Committee. In addition, he was one of the first members of FPA NexGen. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and is active with The Seeing Eye, Inc. of Morristown, the first Seeing Eye dog school in the world. He has served on the Board of the Optimist Club of Westfield and was the Chair of the Church Council and a member of the Board of Trustees for the Westfield United Methodist Church.

Brent, his wife Tamela (whom he met at Tech when they were Student Senators), live in Westfield, NJ with their son Lochlan and their two retired Seeing Eye dogs, Xito and Wishes.
