Texas Tech University

“My Hometown” photo competition

We would like to get to know you. Would you share and tell us more about your country and culture through photographs? This competition is open to international students studying at Texas Tech University.

The instructions are as follows:

  • Submit a maximum of 5 photos of your hometown or home country to Tracy Tindle (tracy.tindle@ttu.edu) by August 12, 2014.
  • Photos must be appropriate for viewing by all ages.
  • Five photos maximum, high resolution, color or black & white.
  • If one of your images is selected, we will require that you submit a full file that can be enlarged without pixilation.
  • Include your name, contact information, and name of your hometown and country with the images you email.
  • We are not responsible for any loss or damage to the image(s) submitted.

The winning photos will be enlarged to 11”x14”, matted, and framed—all at our cost—and exhibited in the gallery areas of the International Cultural Center from September through the middle of October, 2014. You will be given the enlarged print at the end of the exhibit (our frames and matting are TTU property and are NOT included). The top three photos will receive ribbons. This is a great opportunity to show off your hometown (or home country) and add an interesting line to your resume! For more information contact: tracy.tindle@ttu.edu
