Applications must be submitted by the deadline in order to prevent delays in processing, but supporting materials may be sent after this date. 
Submitting your documents via email, with your R #, to your admissions counselor after you have applied and received your confirmation from Texas Tech University will allow us to review your application more quickly.

Application Materials

Application (Required) Complete the International Transfer Application online on ApplyTexas at www.applytexas.org
Application Fee (Required) The application fee is $75 (nonrefundable and non-waivable)
College Transcripts (Required) Submit original or attested copies of ALL College or University transcripts and coursework. These may be sent electronically, but if you are admitted to Texas Tech University, you must submit OFFICIAL FINAL TRANSCRIPTS upon arrival.
Proof of High School Completion (Required) Submit document showing completion of High School (transcripts, diploma, exit examinations, etc.). This can be sent electronically
Translation of Documents If your documents are in a language other than English, please submit complete and official English translations together with the original language records.                           
The translation must be from an American Translators Association-certified translator/translation service or the academic institution.
English Proficiency
Requirements
(Required)
Texas Tech requires students from non-English-speaking countries to demonstrate the ability to speak, write, and understand the English language.                                                      
Proof of English proficiency may be WAIVED. Please check ENGLISH PROFICIENCY WAIVERS                                    
To demonstrate your ability, you must submit one of the following: TOEFL and IELTS scores are valid for 2 years only.
Scholarships Texas Tech University offers SCHOLARSHIPS for students who are transferring from U.S. community colleges.
