Undergraduate Visiting Students:

The fellowship covers international airfare, a monthly income (housing and living costs), installation allowance, coursework aid and health insurance. The program duration is for12 months, but may be extended up to 18 months if the language course is needed. Eligible students can apply directly with Institute of International Education (IIE) under the Brazil Scientific Mobility Program portal.

Professional Masters:

The fellowship covers international airfare, a monthly income (housing and living costs), installation allowance, coursework aid and health insurance. The program duration is for 12 months, but may be extended up to 24 months. Eligible students can apply directly with Institute of International Education (IIE) under the Brazil Scientific Mobility Program portal.

PhD Sandwich:

The fellowship provides for a student formally enrolled in a PhD program in Brazil the opportunity for theoretical development, collection and/or processing of data or partial development of the experimental part of his/her thesis to be defended in Brazil. The fellowship covers international airfare, a monthly income (housing and living costs), installation allowance, courseware aid and health insurance. The program duration is 12 months, but may be extended up to 18 months if the language course is needed. Eligible students would apply directly to TTU.

Full PhD:

The fellowship provides funding for the entire duration (up to 4 years) of a Ph. D. program. The fellowship covers international airfare, a monthly income (housing and living costs), installation allowance, courseware aid and health insurance. Eligible students can apply directly with LASPAU under the Brazil Scientific Mobility Program. Please review the site below as there are specific requirements such as master's degree, TOEFL, GRE, etc.

Post-doc:

The post-doc program within the framework of the Brazil Scientific Mobility Program aims at enabling the Brazilian researcher to update their knowledge through a development of innovative research project in institutions of excellence overseas. The program duration is 6 months to 1 year. Extension is allowed for up to 2 years. The fellowship covers international airfare, a monthly income (housing and living costs), installation allowance, and health insurance. The candidates must directly contact the institution/host researcher overseas and submit a research project to be developed to the analysis of CNPq or CAPES.

Visiting Researcher:

The Brazil Scientific Mobility Program provides a Special Visiting Researcher fellowship to renowned scientists and leaders of research groups from abroad to come to Brazil. Both PhD sandwich (overseas) and/or post-doc (in Brazil) scholarships can be requested to participate in the development of the research project. Application must be made by the Brazilian researcher in Brazil.
